The Buxton International Festival (BIF) is one of the UK’s leading arts festivals celebrating the best of opera, classical music and literature from around the world. Somersault were appointed to refresh one of BIF’s most important marketing tools: their events programme.
Our brief was to appeal to a younger audience whilst keeping the long-standing festival goers happy. With this in mind, our creative centered around an easy-to-navigate diary of events making the most important information and promotional offers stand out with both audiences benefiting from engaging content.

The operas at the festival are very much its feature events. As part of the listings for these events, four illustrations were commissioned to reflect each event.
